Mark Brandwijk (1994) got his first organ lessons from Jaap den Besten in his residence Krimpen aan den IJssel at the age of 6. In 2006 he continued his lessons at Everhard Zwart. In 2006 he also started with the accompaniment of choirs by playing the organ and the piano. In 2007 Mark won the challenge cup of the Feike Asma-contest. He won that trophy again in 2008 and 2009.
Until mid-2012 Mark was accompanist of “Het Hollands Kinderkoor Hadassah” and children choir and ladies choir “Blijde Klanken”.

At this moment Mark is a permanent accompanist of the following choirs: Young Ladies Choir ‘’Hadassah’’, youth choir “Speranza”, “Het Hollands Jongerenkoor” and “Het Groot Nederlands Jongerenkoor”. Besides that, he is a desirable accompanist at other choir recitals and instrumental concerts and has performed yet with very much well-known musicians in Holland. He has also been two times on a concert tour to Canada.
Since June 2010 Mark has got pianolessons at Mirjam IJsseldijk in Krimpen aan de Lek. Since mid 2011 Mark is a part of “The Martin Mans Band”. Mark contributed in dozens CD-records and has already released two solo-CD’s named “Markant’’ and “Remarkable”.
Together with Reinier Korver he forms the “Duo Virtuoso”. The last years Mark focussed more and more at composing and arranging music.
