Zier Verheij

More than 251 times played this month

Zier Verheij (1948) has had lessons from various organists, including Jan J. van den Berg in the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft in the late 70s. During that period he obtained the certificates of Church Organ Playing from the VOGG and the NOV.
Early 2017 he celebrated his 50th anniversary as organist of the Reformed Church of Scheveningen. At the end of 2017 the church merged with the church in The Hague and he became organist of the merged church of The Hague-Scheveningen. In October 2023 he said goodbye to the Eben-Haëzer choir in that church, after having accompanied it as organist for 52 years. During that period he also accompanied the youth choir Benjamin for several years.
Since 2019 he has been taking organ and piano lessons from Roeland de Reuver in Capelle aan den IJssel.
