Violinist Willemien Veldman.
21-year-old Willemien has been involved with music since she was 4 years old. She has been taking violin lessons since she was 14. She received private lessons from Joan Wijzenbeek in Hilversum. She then studied with Joyce Tan for two years at the Utrecht Conservatory, where she continues to take lessons and masterclasses. Willemien is actively involved in performance practice, serving as concertmaster of the youth symphony orchestra Sjosjanim and the ensemble Con Moto. She is currently studying music therapy at the Enschede Conservatory.
