The Walchers Men's Choir has been around for 45 years. Started in Vlissingen and after 20 years moved to Middelburg where we still rehearse enthusiastically to this day. The Walchers Men's Choir is part of the classis Middelburg.
We currently have about 50 members. We rehearse once every 2 weeks on Wednesday evenings, from 20.00 to 22.00 in the Ter Hoogekerk in Middelburg. If you want to taste the good and cozy atmosphere, you are welcome to attend some rehearsals without obligation. See the rehearsal agenda on the website.
Every year the choir participates in various performances and we also regularly organize concerts ourselves, for dates of performances or concerts, see concert agenda on the website. The repertoire consists of psalms, spiritual and patriotic songs. The Walchers Men's Choir has already had several conductors and organists. Since September 2019, the choir has been under the musical direction of conductor Jan Wisse and organist Jan de Visser.
