Thijs van Vliet (2006) had a passion for classical and sacred music from a young age. At the age of eight, he began taking violin lessons with violinist Anahi Oraison at the Crescendo music school in Sliedrecht and Dubbelsteyn in Dordrecht. At Crescendo, he earned diplomas in general music theory. In 2018, he won first prize at the school's internal soloist competition. Since 2021, Thijs has played with the first violins of the Christelijk Ensemble Scherzando in Dordrecht, where he regularly takes on solo parts. Thijs has also participated in concerts with the Kinderkoor Mattanja and various other choirs.
