The Credo Singers were founded in 1963, with Arie Pronk as conductor. The Credo Singers experienced a stormy growth and has developed into a well-known and much sought-after choir in its thirty years of existence. The choir has produced a number of CDs in recent years. Due to many requests, the choir can regularly be seen on television and heard on the radio. Furthermore, the Credo Singers regularly give concerts, singing evenings and participate in church services. The traditional annual Christmas concerts in "De Doelen" in Rotterdam have become an indispensable part of life and have been a highlight for The Credo Singers for almost thirty years. The choir is known far beyond the national borders. Concert tours have been made to Israel and several times to England, including a sound recording in the famous St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Despite all these events, the goal of The Credo Singers will remain unchanged, namely singing and spreading the Gospel.
