Sophia (1987) was always crazy about music from a young age. She started taking organ lessons as a child and began trumpet lessons at the age of 14 in Veenendaal. During her education, she took conducting lessons. During these lessons, she became increasingly interested in conducting. As a child, Sophia had always sung in a children's choir, later joining a mixed choir. She later filled in as a conductor several times and got completely hooked. She followed many online lessons. In 2008, she started a trumpet teaching practice. She also regularly participated as a trumpeter in choir performances, CD recordings, and concerts. In 2011, she started as a conductor for the children's choir Timotheüs in Barneveld.
In recent years, a children's choir has been added there. Currently, there are about 38 music students with various instruments. The feeling you get when a choir conveys what you have in your mind is beautiful. Also, having a bond with the choir members is nice. Especially with a children's choir, you are always faced with fun challenges.
