Ronald IJmker (1981) started with private lessons at home, before taking lessons at the music school. After a few years he continued his studies with organ major with Harm Jansen at the Conservatory in Zwolle, where he successfully graduated on January 15, 2005 with a final recital in the Grote Kerk in Zwolle.
Ronald is associated as organist with the Stadskerk of Coevorden, Singelkerk of Coevorden, the Protestant Congregation in De Krim and the Christian Reformed Church in Nieuw Balinge.
He is the conductor of VocalSpirit and the Christian Large Mixed Choir 'Polyphonie', both from Stadskanaal, and the Christian choir 'Judah' from Rijssen.
He is also a much sought-after and popular accompanist, with various choirs, on both organ and piano.
Concert tours with choirs have already taken him to many countries in Europe.
He also collaborated on several CD, radio, and TV recordings.
He also gives organ and piano lessons to both beginners and advanced students.
