Peter Burger was born and raised in the village of Waddinxveen. From an early age, he developed a love for music, especially for the organ and choral singing, which he inherited from home. At a young age, he began taking organ lessons. Various teachers instructed him in different styles of music. Ultimately, Peter deliberately chose to focus on sacred music in order to praise and worship God, and to convey a beautiful message to both choir members and audiences.
Currently, Peter Burger leads five choirs: the Christian Mixed Choir Adonai from Waddinxveen, the Christian Regional Choir Adoramus in Hazerswoude, the Christian Mixed Choir Immanuel in Katwijk, the Interdenominational Choir in Nieuwpoort-Langerak, and the Christian Men’s Ensemble Jubilate from Zwijndrecht.
Peter regularly accompanies church services as an organist in various congregations. He is actively involved in organizing concerts and frequently initiates new music projects. He has also organized several choir tours to countries including France, Germany, England, and Israel.
