Otto Zwolsman was born on August 20, 1988, in Rijssen. At age seven, he joined the children's choir Jubilate, a school of the Reformed Church in Rijssen, and since January 2001, he has sung with the youth choir Sjaloom. From September 1999, Otto took singing lessons with vocal coach Hotske Hardeman.
