Nevermind, founded in 2013 by Anna Besson, Louis Creac’h, Robin Pharo, and Jean Rondeau, unites a love for early music from all horizons. The ensemble performs works for flute, violin, viola da gamba, and harpsichord from the 17th and 18th centuries, with shared passion and striking musical rapport.
They have performed across France, Europe, the U.S. (Boston Early Music Festival, Oberlin Conservatory), Canada (Pro Musica), Iceland, and Russia (St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk Philharmonic, Yekaterinburg). Key venues include the Louvre Auditorium, Salle Cortot, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Hong Kong City Hall, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Concertgebouw Bruges, and London’s Barbican.
Nevermind’s first three albums are Conversations (2016), Quatuors Parisiens (2017, Telemann), and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (2021), all on the Alpha label. In 2019, they explored contemporary music with Philippe Hersant’s La Harpe de David, performed at festivals in Froville, Saintes, La Chaise-Dieu, and Périgord.
