The Ned. Herv. Singing Society 'With Heart and Voice'
This choir was founded in 1986 on the initiative of four members of the Reformed District Congregation Center in Zwijndrecht.
On the founding evening, 25 members signed up. Now, eight years later, the choir has 70 enthusiastic members. The objective of the choir is to spread the Gospel through singing and organ playing. Since 1987 the choir has been under the inspiring leadership of conductor Bert Kruis from Noordeloos. Under his leadership, the choir has grown in quantity and quality. Twice a year the choir organizes a large choir and congregational singing evening in the Oude Kerk in Zwijndrecht, in addition, they regularly participate in radio and TV recordings by invitation. The well-known organist Frans van Tilburg is the regular accompanist of this choir.
