Raised on a farm in the small town of Lynden, Ontario, Canada, Naomi Noorduyn was introduced to music at a very young age. After showing great interest, she began piano lessons at the age of five. Because she was homeschooled from kindergarten through high school, she had ample time to devote to lessons and practice. In grade 8, Naomi came under the piano guidance and mentorship of the Russian teacher Olga Tcherniak from Ancaster, Ontario. Since her early school years, Naomi has participated in numerous music festivals, competitions, and examinations, and at the age of 18, she earned the Associate diplomas from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto for Elementary and Intermediate Pedagogy.

Since grade 8, she has been teaching students of all ages, has conducted various choirs, soloists (both instrumental and vocal), and small ensembles, and regularly performs at weddings and in churches. Currently, Naomi is the resident pianist of the Hosanna Choir from Dundas, Ontario (under the direction of Herman den Hollander), a position she has held with great pleasure since January 2016. She particularly enjoys the musical collaboration between organ and piano with her cousin Ryan Vandenberg. She has also accompanied the Mattaniah Christian Male Choir on multiple occasions.

Recently, Naomi released her first CD, titled Serenade: a piano/organ duet album together with André Knevel. Although life is busy, music remains a blessing for her in everyday moments – an outlet for worship and a wonderful opportunity to build friendships with students and fellow musicians.
