Mirjam is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp, where she studies with Luc Anthonis. As a subsidiary subject, she studies classical singing with Anne Cambier.
Mirjam is the conductor of five choirs, each with its own character and repertoire, giving her experience with a wide range of musical styles. Her ensembles include a church choir, an oratorio choir, a women’s choir, and three chamber choirs. For Mirjam, singing and conducting go hand in hand. Since 2012, she has been a member of the Laurenscantorij in Rotterdam. She also regularly performs in small ensembles, where she takes on a leadership role.
