Mirjam is often and enthusiastically involved in music in daily life. She teaches music at primary school. She also conducts the instrumental youth ensemble "Intermezzo" in Veenendaal and the children's choir "Jong Crescendo" in Ede.
In recent years she has followed the two-year conductor training at the Conductor's Workshop in Utrecht and is currently following the post-graduate course in music specialization.
