Martin den Boer, born in 1958, lives in Kootwijkerbroek He studied at the Utrecht Conservatory and graduated in 1986. As a teacher, he has a private teaching practice with organ and piano pupils. In 1991 he was appointed principal organist of the Nieuwe Kerk in Zeist. At present, Martin is organist of both the Oude Kerk and Nieuwe Kerk in Zeist. In the Oude Kerk is a beautiful, recently restored Bätz organ from 1843. More information

On 17 March 2016 Martin received a badge and certificate for being an organist of the Reformed Church of Zeist for 25 years.

In addition, he has been the conductor of many choirs over a period of 45 years.

Martin is also engaged in organ building. Previously, several pipe organs and a harpsichord were built. At the moment several Hauptwerk organs are built including the type: Kabinet III and Preludium III with 3 manuals. More information can be found by the menu: Hauptwerk orgels

The most beautiful project which he was recently allowed to carry out was the construction of a copy of the console of the St. Sulpice in Paris which is located in his music studio. Via the Hauptwerk system he can play this fantastic organ at home. See here: More information
