Men's Choir "Rehoboth"
This choir was founded on November 18, 1997, under the leadership of five initiators and has, from the very beginning, had around 38 loyal members,
for which we, the members and board, are very grateful. A question had been circulating for some time: why wasn't there a men's choir in the Hoekse Waard region where psalms could be sung without having to attend a course abroad? After several survey evenings, it was decided to establish the choir, which quickly proved to be a success. The choir originates from the Reformed Church of Klaaswaal and has been conducted from the beginning by Jos Lock, who already had some experience with mixed choirs. We are also pleased that the choir currently has around ten young people aged 16-19, so the choir doesn't hinder the influx of young people; on the contrary, it makes it attractive for young people to participate in our choir. where no-nonsense people walk around, from young to old and from member to board, who enjoy having a place of rest like the choir to help them in this secularized world.
