‘Emotion’ – the English word for emotion
Emotion is a men’s ensemble that sings Reformed and classical music, with careful attention to the meaning and emotion of each piece. We discuss the lyrics together, so that we understand what we are singing and why.
We rehearse on Monday evenings in an open and welcoming atmosphere, with a focus on both musical quality and fellowship. Emotion consists of men of all ages; we share not only our music, but also our lives.
Above all, our fellowship is sometimes a reflection of the words found in Psalm 133:1: “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” This brotherly bond can truly be felt and forms the foundation of the way we sing and journey together.
Throughout the year, we give several concerts. During these performances, choral singing and congregational singing come together in a fitting and meaningful way.
In addition, we make recordings for both audio and video productions.
Not for our own honor, but for the glory of God and for the spreading of His eternally praised Word!
Soli Deo Gloria!
