Luk Bastiaens is a principal subject teacher of organ at LUCA School of Arts in Leuven. He is also head of the Programme of the Specific Teacher Training Programme in Music.
Luk Bastiaens has given concerts in various European countries, made a dozen CD recordings and has produced a number of music publications by Flemish composers, including the complete organ work by Gabriël Verschraegen and organ work by André Laporte. Since 2005 he has been editor-in-chief of the quarterly magazine 'Orgelkunst' (Organ Art), which puts Flemish organ culture on the international map. As an author, he has published many articles, both in Flemish and international journals.
