Conductor Leen Groeneveld (1935) received music lessons from G. van Tuijl and W. Blankers, among others. He received his training as a choir conductor from Khurt Thomas in The Hague. Leen Groeneveld has conducted various choirs since he was 25. He has been the conductor of the male choir since 1963. In addition to conducting, he also teaches organ.
