Laura Paalman was born on April 5, 1996, in Rijssen. She started recorder lessons at the age of 7, and two years later she began violin lessons at the Music School in Rijssen with Jan Dam. In April 2013, she passed her D-exam. After her time at the music school, she took violin lessons for a year with Carles Puig Ruscalleda in Utrecht. In September 2015, Laura began studying music therapy at the ArtEZ Conservatory in Enschede. In her spare time, Laura regularly provides music therapeutic activities in various nursing homes. In addition, she has a small private teaching practice for violin students and regularly participates in concerts.
