Kleinkoor Concertino has been under the direction of conductor and musician Martin Zonnenberg since its founding in June 2009. Concertino consists of 30 experienced and enthusiastic singers, and the accompaniment is always provided by professional musicians.
The vocal coach is the renowned soprano Mariët Kaasschieter.
The choir has a wide and varied repertoire, ranging from classical to contemporary, with an emphasis on (English) romantic choral music.
Highlights include the Passion concerts, Evensongs, and the now traditional 'Christmas Concerts by Candlelight'.
The CDs 'Première' and Concertino 'live' provide an impression of the versatile repertoire of the Kleinkoor Concertino. The Crucifixion (John Stainer) has been included on the CD 'English Meditations'. There has been no CD worldwide of the impressive work of William Lloyd Webber 'The Saviour'. It is special to have made a CD of this. The cantata 'Light of the World' by our own conductor Martin Zonnenberg, with texts by Reverend W. Kok, is a recording of the premiere of this magnificent work, accompanied by an orchestra
