The children's choir Jedaja (praising the Lord) from Nieuwerkerk was established in October 1997 and is supervised by the church council of the Reformed Congregation in Nieuwerkerk (Zeeland). The children's choir has approximately 75 members aged 6 to 12 years and has been led by Cindy de Ronde – van de Velde since January 2017. The repertoire consists of psalms (arrangements), hymns, and national songs. During performances, the choirs are accompanied by organ and/or piano and possibly other instruments. The children's choir has also participated in various CD recordings such as 'Sing to the Lord', 'A Bow in the Clouds' as well as several other CDs.
