Children's choir 'Harpe Davids' was founded in 1984 in Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Over time, various conductors have stood in front of the choir. The choir has been conducted by Jeannet van den Heuvel for over 10 years now.
The number of members fluctuated often, but has been stable for a while now with about 40 members.
The choir is an initiative of the Reformed Congregation, but a large number of members also come from other church federations, such as the Old Reformed Congregation and the Restored Reformed Church.
Every Thursday evening there is rehearsal for performances. The choir sings during singing evenings, church meetings, for recordings or for the elderly in a nursing home.
