The Young Men's Choir Salomo was founded in the summer of 2011 and is an ensemble based on Christian principles. What is unique about the Young Men's Choir Salomo is that the average age of the choir members is around 30 years, which resonates in the clear sound. The ensemble consists of 20 enthusiastic singers, all with the same passion: Singing! The Young Men's Choir Salomo was founded by Peter Wildeman. In addition to conducting the Young Men's Choir Salomo, he also organizes various organ concerts and accompanies various choirs and soloists. Furthermore, Peter Wildeman organizes various concert and singing trips.
The repertoire consists of a wide selection of psalms and various spiritual songs. Throughout the year, we participate in various beautiful concerts. These concerts are either organized by the Young Men's Choir Salomo itself or we sing at the invitation of other choirs. During the concerts, Joost van Belzen accompanies us on the piano. In recent years, we have participated in concerts at various beautiful locations, such as the Grote or Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk in Dordrecht, the Grote or Maria Magdalena Church in Goes, the Nieuwe Kerk in Middelburg, and the concert hall De Doelen in Rotterdam.
