In 2017, the then fourteen-year-old Joël came second in the Christian Dutch Première Concours. In the autumn of 2018, he recorded his first CD and now he is allowed to present the result! Joël: "I dedicate this CD to all Christians who live in persecution and oppression." On January 12, 2019, Joël presented his CD 'Timeless' during the New Year's concert for Foundation HVC in Gorinchem.Joël takes you on a musical journey through time with his CD. In the CD booklet, Joël explains how the played works are interconnected and how they together form the time travel. The tracks on the CD are divided into four blocks in chronological order: from Baroque (1600 – 1760), Classicism (1730 – 1820), Romanticism (1800-1900), and contemporary classical music (since 1950). Joël: "Every era has its own charm."
