James Warrior (pseudonym) was born in the Netherlands in 1966. At a young age, his interest was aroused in the 'king of instruments', the organ. Since then, this talented organist has devoted himself with great enthusiasm and zeal to 'his' instrument and its music. This made him take lessons with Jan Bonefaas, organist and improviser par excellence.
James Warrior has a great interest in the organ works from the romantic period; however, this does not mean that music from other style periods is absent from his programs.
This CD is his third recording from Hasselt. That is not without reason; you could consider it a kind of old love of his. Listening to this CD, Warrior's choice will not surprise you!
