Jacomina van der Plas-Vooijs (1974), from Katwijk aan Zee, has been active in choirs from a very young age. Her beautiful voice and singing talent were soon noticed. From the age of 18, she took vocal training with singing teacher Wieke Ubels in Haarlem.
Characteristic of her voice is a wide musical range. As a highly sought-after and appreciated soloist, she regularly performs with various choirs. She has also contributed to several CD recordings.
Singing is an essential part of her life.
