Henri Adema was born in 1967 in Voorschoten. At a young age he worked as an organist in choir and organ concerts. He received his musical education at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. There he completed his studies for organ D.M. and music teacher with Rienk Jiskoot in 1991. In 1992 he passed the organ U.M. recital. He also took choir conducting lessons with Jan Boogaarts. He followed courses with Gerd Zacker (Essen) and with Gaston Litaize (Paris). As an organist and conductor he worked on various CD recordings. In addition to the Regional Youth Choir "Cantate Domino" he also conducts the Christian Mixed Choir "Sursum Corda" in Gouda. He works as a music teacher at the "Driestar College" in Gouda.
