Haruna Takebe is born in Kagawa, Japan. She graduated from Toho Gakuen School of music, Tokyo, Japan with her bachelor’s degree in piano performance.
And later on she continued her study at The Berlin University of the Arts, Germany to work with Prof. Elena Lapitskaja. And from 2002, she is working for her Master's degree as a concert soloist as well as a chamber musician and a lied accompanist and is to obtain it with a guidance of Prof. Willem Brons from The Conservatory of Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 2006. The teachers also includes Yasuko Taniguchi, Keiko Abe and Prof. Keiko Takeuchi.
As a concert pianist, she started her professional career since 1999, including the performance of Piano Concerto for the left hand D-major by M. Ravel and Piano Concerto Op.11 e-minor by F. Chopin with das Symfonie Orchester Berlin at the Berlin-Philharmonie. And she has been well received for her recitals in various countries, where she also accomplished various prizes form piano competitions, such as The Netherlands, Italy, Germany and Japan.
