With Marien van Staalen, Giselle studied cello at the Rotterdam conservatory where she obtained her diploma as a teaching musician. Giselle continued her studies at the conservatory of Enschede as a student of Paul Uyterlinde and obtained the diploma of performing musician in 2000.
She also took lessons and masterclasses with Floris Mijnders and Pieter Wispelwey, among others.
After her studies, she realized her dream by working as a freelance cellist. And immersed himself in orchestral playing. In the meantime she has been able to play in many concert halls. And she works together with various choirs.
