REFORMED CHURCH CHOIR SLIEDRECHT
This choir was founded in 1950 with the aim of cooperating in the religious services and our own singing evenings with various soloists and organists. Jan Bonefaas was the first conductor.
In the sixties, the program of Psalms and Spiritual songs was expanded with large choral works, which were usually performed with orchestral accompaniment.
During the many performances, in and outside Sliedrecht, spreading the Gospel has always been central. This has also been the aim when making recordings for the radio, LPs, MCs and CDs. The choir, which has 75 members, has been under the inspiring leadership of Frans van Tilburg since 1991.
