I am Gerco Brouwer (1975) from Werkendam. My musical hobby started at home because of a musical family, with the starting point actually being the Wegwijsbeurs, where Matthijs Koene and Jakob Schenk played the pan flute. At about 18 years old (1993), I started taking lessons at the music school of Jan de Leeuw, and then from 2000 onwards I had lessons from the Romanian Costel Puscoiu. The beautiful thing about making music is that you can put your feelings into it. A little music group that is really fun. In the meantime, we have also been giving pan flute lessons for quite a while, which is nice, as it allows you to pass your skills on to others. And what is learned young is done old. All in all, it is great to be able to use the talent I have been given!
