Frans Haagen was conductor of the Twente Zangers from 1987 to early 2002. The first rehearsal under him was on January 14, 1987. We also achieved great successes under Frans Haagen. Think of the jubilee year of the 25th anniversary of the Twente Zangers. We sang many performances and highlights under his leadership. After his retirement in March 2002, he led our ensemble again for a year later during a period of illness of Louis ten Vregelaar.
