The conductor of both choirs studied organ with various organists. In 1990 he obtained his final diploma in Organ at the music school in Dordrecht with high marks. In that year he also passed the PABO diploma, specializing in music. He is currently studying choir conducting and solo singing with the well-known music pedagogue T. Koeleman. At the age of 18 he was appointed organist of a Schiedam youth choir. A year later he was appointed conductor of the mixed choir "Harpe Davids". Since September 1990 he has also been conductor of the Dordrecht choir "Osanna in Excelsis", where he succeeded Dick van Luttikhuizen. In addition to being conductor of the aforementioned choirs, Frans is also deputy conductor of the well-known Werkendam male choir "D.E.V." He has previously worked as organist and conductor on various recordings. On this CD/MC he can be heard as a solo singer.
