Harpsichordist, organist and conductor Francesco Corti (1984) studied in Perugia, Geneva and Amsterdam. Prizewinner at the Bach-Wettbewerb Leipzig (2006) and at the Bruges Harpsichord Competition (2007). He is guest conductor of Il Pomo d’Oro, Freiburger Barockorchester, English Concert, Kammerorchester Basel, Akademie für Alte Musik, Les Musiciens du Louvre.
He performs as a soloist in Europe, the United States, Latin America and the Far East.
Since 2023 he has been Music Director at the Drottningholm Court Theatre (Sweden). Since 2016 he has been professor of harpsichord and thorough bass at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. He has recorded four albums for Arcana dedicated to Bach, Handel, Frescobaldi and Scarlatti.
