Evert van Dijkhuizen (1962-2017) obtained his teaching qualification from Driestar College.
After working for several years, he left teaching and became a journalist for the Reformatorisch Dagblad. He received musical training from his youth,
which led to the making of several organ recordings. He became the conductor of several choirs, including the Betuws Jongerenkoor in Kesteren. Evert was 55 years old.
