Evert van de Veen, born on December 28, 1963, took his first organ lessons with his uncle Evert van de Kamp. He continued his studies with John Propitius in Barneveld, who prepared him for his studies at the Utrecht Conservatory. Here he studied with Theo Theunissen.
On June 15, 1990 he graduated with a graduation concert in the Pieterskerk in Utrecht. Evert van de Veen is an organist at the Ger. Churches of Voorthuizen, Nijkerk, and Garderen. He is also affiliated with the music school in Genemuiden, Hasselt and Zwartsluis. He is also the conductor of various youth and children's choirs in the Voorthuizen area.
