Erik Eenkhoorn (1996) has been the organist of the Grote Kerk in Genemuiden since 2018. He received his first organ lessons from his aunt and then studied for several years with organ teacher Cor Ploeg. In Genemuiden, the 'Genemuider bovenstem' has been sung for generations. Since 2013, this has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List, because Genemuiden is the cradle of two-part singing. Since 2021, he has been the organist and musical advisor of the foundation, and together with the foundation, he is responsible for preserving the bovenstem.
