Flutist Dorette Lagendijk was born in Delft and started playing the flute at the age of 16. She studied at the conservatory in Tilburg with Raymond Delnoye. She has obtained the DM diploma. She then studied at the conservatory in Maastricht where Michelle Lefèvre provided the finishing touch. Here she obtained the diploma of Performing Musician. She performs under the name DL-Music and under her own name Dorette Lagendijk.
