American pianist Claire Huangci gained international recognition after winning First Prize at the 2018 Géza Anda Competition, along with awards at several major international competitions. She is widely praised for her brilliant virtuosity, compelling musicianship, and refined tonal palette.
Since the 2024/25 season, she has been an artist with Alpha Classics. Following a highly acclaimed Mozart concerto album with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, she released her solo album Made in USA, featuring works by Gershwin, Beach, Barber, and Wild.
Claire Huangci performs regularly in leading concert halls worldwide and collaborates with renowned orchestras and conductors. Born in Rochester, New York, her exceptional talent was evident at an early age; at nine she was invited to perform at the White House. She studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and later in Hanover.
