Christelijk Streekmannenkoor Noord-West Veluwe uit Nijkerk

More than 206 times played this month

The Christian Regional Men's Choir "Noord-West Veluwe," Nijkerk was founded on October 1, 1976. The choir has about 125 enthusiastic members.

Martin Mans has been the conductor since 1995. The choir has gained a lot in quality due to his expert and inspiring leadership. The concert audience is enthusiastic and the choir attracts full halls time and again in Nijkerk, but also beyond.
The choir's repertoire is very diverse and varies from spiritual songs to classical and popular; from negro spirituals to patriotic and from Dutch to foreign songs. Highlights are our annual New Year's Concert, Orange Concert and Advent Concert in Nijkerk and the Passion & Easter Concert in Bunschoten. We also mention concerts in the Sint Janskerk in Gouda, in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and in De Doelen in Rotterdam.
We also regularly participate in singing services in, among others, Nijkerk, Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Bunschoten and Rotterdam. Fixed points in the "male choir year" are the New Year's concert in January in De Fontein in Nijkerk, the Orange concert on the eve of King's Day in the Grote Kerk in Nijkerk and the Advent concert in December in the Kruiskerk in Nijkerk and the Passion & Easter concert in the Immanuelkerk in Bunschoten.

The Ensemble of the Chr. Streekmannenkoor NW-Veluwe, Nijkerk has become a fixed element in the concerts of the male choir. The good quality of the ensemble has already led to many enthusiastic reactions.
