In 2006, a temporary choir of about 55 men contributed to a Reformation commemoration at the Sionskerk in Epe by singing a top part during the psalms. Due to the many positive reactions and the enthusiasm of the singers, it was decided to continue singing. Thus, the top part group Noord-Oost Veluwe was formed. The name broadly indicates the area from which the men originate, from Apeldoorn to Hattem and from Elburg to Welsum. The repertoire consists of psalms and well-known spiritual songs. Several CDs have since been made on which the top part group can be heard.
