Berdine Zwanepol
More than 6.5k times played this month
Berdine Zwanepol (1997), born in Kampen, Overijssel, has had a love for music from an early age. As a child she sang everywhere: on the back of the bicycle, in the taxi, in the supermarket and in a children's choir. Even in high school, music continued to play an important role in the school choir and later a youth choir. Yet there remained a desire to do more than sing in a choir.
In addition to her work as a teaching assistant in secondary education, Berdine started the Instagram account 'My Life on Wheels' in 2019, where she shares her life as a young woman with a physical disability. Berdine has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a brittle bone disease, which makes her 95 cm tall, completely dependent on a wheelchair and has now experienced more than 80 bone fractures.
In 2021, Berdine started sharing living room videos on YouTube. As a result, the focus on music became more and more serious. In the meantime she has also written a number of her own songs, together with a musical friend. Her music goes beyond words and melodies: Berdine wants to convey a message that touches people. Her music is aimed at magnifying God and bringing glory to Him.
