Bart Kruithof was born on November 7, 2002, in Dordrecht. At a young age, he developed an interest in the organ, the king of instruments. At the age of nine, he received his first organ lessons from his father. He later took literature and improvisation lessons from organist Lennard Verkamman in Sliedrecht. “Music and singing connect,” says Bart. Accompanying Psalms on the organ is what he enjoys most.
In May 2020, Bart recorded his first organ CD in the Bovenkerk in Kampen. Following the release of this sold-out CD, many people asked if he would produce more recordings. As a result, over time more music and congregational Psalm singing have been recorded and made available on YouTube, Familystream, and various CDs.
As a church organist, Bart is affiliated with the Eben-Haëzer Church (GG) in Alblasserdam.
Bart’s wish is that organ playing and the singing of Psalms may be to the glory of God.
