Arjan Wouters (1995) is the conductor and co-founder of Men’s Ensemble Espressione. As a passionate conductor, he leads the choir and musicians, blending singing and music into a beautiful, rich, multi-voiced song of praise to the Lord. Arjan’s mission is to use his musical talents to the glory of God. His vision is that through singing and music, we may worship God and reach more people with the Gospel.
From a young age, Arjan was already experimenting with music. He received organ lessons from Leen Schippers, Frank Segers, and Aart Bergwerff. From 2014 to 2019, he studied Music Education at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. There, he took piano lessons with Walter Bertram and meanwhile received coaching from Jan Willem van Delft in Hilversum.
Since April 2024, Arjan has been the conductor of the Christian choir Jigdaljahu. In addition, he is the regular keyboardist of the band Eeuwenlang.
