Arie Tuinman is the pseudonym of Adriaan Jansen (born in 1903, deceased in Haarlem in 1964). Mr. Jansen gained considerable fame within the Reformed community under the pseudonym B.J. van Wijk as the author of the two-part children's Bible, children's books, and books on gardening. Mr. Jansen was also one of the founders of the magazine GezinsGids (Family Guide).
