Adèle Charvet has established herself as one of the most talented French mezzos of her generation in an extremely short time. Her career developed swiftly after her operatic debut as Mercedes in Carmen at the Royal Opera House; her voice is described as velvety, dense and vibrantly sensitive. She cultivates her singularity by eagerly tackling works from early music to contemporary music and adapting to every genre, with recitals, operas and symphonic concerts under such renowned conductors as Marc Minkowski, Raphaël Pichon, François-Xavier Roth, John Eliot Gardiner and Lahav Shani.

She recorded her first album of songs, Long Time Ago, with pianist Susan Manoff, since when her eclecticism has been reflected in the richness of her repertoire. Her latest recording Teatro Sant’Angelo, based around Vivaldi and other composers of the same period with Le Consort, was awarded a Diamant ranking by Opéra Magazine and TTTT Télérama; the BBC Music Magazine awarded it five stars.
